Job summary

Globalport Terminals Inc. is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to oversee health and wellness for all employees in the Philippines. The role involves developing health programs, handling in-workplace emergencies, and maintaining confidential medical records.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN and RN license, with OHNAP/BOSH certification and at least 2 years of experience in occupational health, focusing on emergency response and DOLE-OSH standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Philippine Nursing Licensure.
• With OHNAP and/or BOSH Certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Occupational/Industrial Nurse, preferably in a corporate, industrial, or terminal environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience in occupational health, workplace emergency response, and basic life support.
• Knowledge of DOLE-OSH standards and other applicable occupational health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety programs in collaboration with the Company Physician and under the direction of the Administrative Manager.
• Provide emergency treatment in the workplace and administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
• Create a clean and comfortable sickbay area and isolation areas for suspected Covid-19 case.
• Promote healthy and wellness programs.
• Educate and counsel employees regarding health and proper hygiene during consultations or health programs.
• Maintain the medical records of all employees. Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential.

The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for the Health and Wellness of all employees of the company. All Health-related problems must be addressed efficiently, and preventive measures should be readily available. Comply to all legal obligations regarding Health and Wellness Programs of the government.
