Energy Development Corporation is seeking an O&M Technician responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the power plant and distribution system in the Philippines. Candidates should have at least two years of experience, preferably in a similar industrial capacity.

The role includes performing preventive maintenance and ensuring the implementation of safety standards. Fluency in the Bicol dialect is required, and the position involves work in Camarines Sur.

Qualifications

• Preferably with three years in similar capacity in an industrial plant.
• Can speak and understand the Bicol dialect.

ROLE PROFILE O&M TECHNICIAN

Purpose: The O & M TECHNICIAN shall be responsible to the daily operations and maintenance of the power plant and distribution system in the islands.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate and maintain plant’s equipment and auxiliaries within the plant’s standard operating procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor corrective maintenance of the power plant and distribution system according to approved standards.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation and implementation of preventive/corrective maintenance work orders, semi-annual/annual preventive maintenance activities, and minor/major overhauling works.
• Practice and implement the Company’s QESH programs, risk management, and community relations.
• Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of two (2) years technical vocational course or completion of at least 2nd Year Engineering course.
• Preferably Certified Plant Mechanic / Registered Master Electrician.
• Experience: Two (2) years working experience as Plant operator, distribution line maintenance, or its equivalent.
• Preferably with three (3) years in similar capacity in an industrial plant.
• Others: Can speak and understand the Bicol dialect. Willing to be assigned in Camarines Sur (Caramoan/Garchitorena).
