Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health Global Business Services - Manila is seeking an experienced Nursing Virtual Learning Coordinator to deliver and coordinate virtual nursing education programs across our global health system.

You will partner with U.S.-based nursing education teams to provide engaging online learning experiences, support competency development, and drive program effectiveness through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined clinical nursing, leadership, learning and development or nursing education experience
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant specialty area
• 2+ years of progression in leadership, professional development or nursing education initiatives
• Experience delivering virtual instructor-led training and online learning programs preferred
• Previous teaching, facilitation or nursing education experience preferred
• Experience supporting healthcare workforce development and clinical education programs preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality virtual nursing education and professional development programs using approved platforms
• Coordinate and facilitate virtual instructor-led training for nurses across settings
• Support orientation, onboarding, nurse residency, cardio rhythm interpretation training and ongoing development
• Design engaging virtual learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design
• Collaborate with Nursing Professional Development Specialists and leaders to identify learning needs
• Apply evidence-based teaching strategies to support knowledge transfer and skill development
• Monitor learner participation, program outcomes and KPIs to evaluate training effectiveness
• Analyze educational data and prepare reports for continuous improvement
• Integrate learning technologies and digital tools to enhance engagement and assessment
• Support competency validation and ensure content aligns with regulatory requirements
• Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of virtual learning
• Maintain technical expertise in virtual learning platforms and emerging practices

Job Summary

The Nursing Virtual Learning Coordinator is responsible for delivering, coordinating and evaluating virtual nursing education programs that support professional development and clinical excellence across Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Operating within a Global Business Services environment, this role partners with U.S.-based nursing education teams to provide engaging virtual learning experiences, support nursing competency development and drive program effectiveness through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

Deliver high-quality virtual nursing education and professional development programs using approved learning and collaboration platforms

• Coordinate and facilitate virtual instructor-led training programs for nurses across multiple healthcare settings

• Support the execution of nursing orientation, clinical onboarding, nurse residency programs, cardiac rhythm interpretation training and ongoing professional development initiatives

• Design and enhance engaging virtual learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices

• Collaborate with Nursing Professional Development Specialists and nursing leaders to identify learning needs and implement development solutions

• Apply evidence-based teaching strategies and age-appropriate learning techniques to support knowledge transfer and skill development

• Monitor learner participation, program outcomes and key performance indicators to evaluate training effectiveness

• Analyze educational data and prepare reports that support continuous improvement efforts and organizational learning goals

• Integrate learning technologies and digital tools to enhance learner engagement, competency assessment and knowledge retention

• Support competency validation activities and ensure educational content aligns with regulatory requirements, clinical standards and organizational priorities

• Share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of virtual learning delivery across the health system

• Maintain technical expertise in virtual learning platforms, instructional technologies and emerging educational practices

What you'll bring

Experience

• 5+ years of combined clinical nursing, leadership, learning and development or nursing education experience required

• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant specialty area required

• 2+ years of progressive experience in leadership, professional development, learning facilitation or project-based nursing education initiatives required

• Experience delivering virtual instructor-led training and online learning programs preferred

• Previous teaching, facilitation or nursing education experience preferred

• Experience supporting healthcare workforce development and clinical education programs preferred

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

• Master of Arts in Nursing or related graduate degree preferred

Certifications and Licensure

• Philippine Registered Nurse (PHRN) License - Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) required
