Responsibilities

• Establish contact persons in accredited and non-accredited hospitals for employee health queries.
• Provide first aid for emergencies and work-related accidents.
• Maintain and update medical records of employees and officers.
• Submit annual work accident/illness exposure data report to the Department of Labor.
• Prepare medical supplies for purchase.
• Evaluate medical results of qualified applicants before employment.
• Prepare monthly medicine consumption.
• Confirmation of sick leave applications.
• Facilitates SSS sickness notification/maternity/EC.
• Check and prepare documents for processing of reimbursement applications and other claims.
• Prepare accident reports for work-related injuries.
• Schedule annual medical check-ups.
• Prepare and submit daily, monthly and annual reports of accomplishments.
• Assist company doctor during physical examination of employees.
• Identify hazardous events and working conditions; plan preventive measures.
• Provide health teaching on detection and prevention of risk and occupational diseases.
• Determine resources for rehabilitation when indicated.
• Support occupational health and safety programs and activities for prevention of accidents.
