Job summary

Advanced Energy seeks a NPI Factory Quality Manager to lead quality efforts for new product introductions, partnering with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturability. You will drive robust quality strategies, manage risks, and guide a team of quality engineers through data-driven improvements during the NPI phase.

You will maintain KPI discipline, coordinate with QPM and Program managers, and act as the quality lead during customer audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 10 years quality engineering in manufacturing recommended.
• Minimum five to ten years of quality engineering experience.
• Minimum five years in a quality manager role.

Responsibilities

• Define NPI factory site quality KPIs vs global KPIs and create execution plans.
• Coach and manage multiple quality engineers to ensure quality support for NPI projects.
• Ensure customer requirements are well received and deployed to factory.
• Provide DFx feedback from design to minimize NPI build risks.
• Ensure process qualification on key processes per project.
• Review NPI build performance reports and issue factory quality statements.
