Job summary

Advanced Energy Management Limited seeks an experienced NPI Quality Engineer for our manufacturing location to drive quality deliverables during initial product launches. You will collaborate with the NPI team to ensure readiness and compliance with customer requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating APQP activities, enforcing PQP and PFMEA, and leading gate reviews to secure smooth production start. Strong problem-solving and quality tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution.
Strong interpersonal communication and listening ability.
Practical experience with APQP tools, tool usage and NPI program management.
Competent in problem solving using 8D methodology: Is-Is Not, Fishbone, 3x5 Why.
Competent in quality tools and control methods such as Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, SPC and Product lifecycle & Reliability.
Ability to read and interpret specifications to ensure understanding of quality parameters and product requirements.

Responsibilities

Liaise for site Advanced Quality Planning activities with the Business Unit and program team.
Ensure product specifications are fully compliant for sample shipments.
Execute PQP delivered from design site QPM.
Support PFMEA to ensure functional specification requirements are met and confirm controls in the Control Plan.
Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on Poke Yoke strategy and confirm controls in the Control Plan.
Confirm site readiness for launching programs and product/process changes.
Support and attend launch program meetings and customer process reviews/audits.
Develop production process Control Plan, CTQ and Safe Launch Plan until formal start of production.
Monitor FA part approval of supplied components.
Conduct program gate reviews to confirm MRM activities are complete and documentation is on time.
Ensure MSA studies and adequate Gage R&R for launches.
