Job summary
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced NPI Factory Quality Manager to drive quality, reliability, and manufacturability for new product launches. You will lead quality engineers and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing during the NPI phase to ensure smooth transitions to mass production.
Key duties include defining KPIs, overseeing APQP tools, managing risk, and hosting customer audits, while guiding DFx, CAPA, FMEA and SPC practices to deliver flawless launches.
Qualifications
- Minimum five to ten years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years of quality manager background.
- Aggressive and straightforward approach to driving problem solving and quality improvements.
- Practical experience with APQP tools, NPI program management, and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Define NPI factory site quality KPIs vs. global KPIs and update plans weekly and monthly.
- Coach and manage multiple quality engineers to support NPI projects.
- Ensure customer requirements are understood and deployed in the factory.
- Drive DFx feedback to design to minimize risk during NPI builds and transition to mass production.
- Review and approve NPI build performance reports and provide factory quality statements.
