Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. seeks an NPI Quality Engineer to lead quality deliverables during initial launch phases at the Rosario, Cavite site.

You will drive APQP, PFMEA, and the manufacturing readiness process in collaboration with the NPI team and report to the NPI Quality Manager. The role requires five years in manufacturing quality, a degree in engineering or a technical field, and strong problem-solving skills to implement control plans, MSA, and gage R&R.

Qualifications

Five or more years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal communication and listening abilities.
Practical experience with APQP tools, tool usage and NPI program management.
Proficiency with 8D problem solving method (Is-Is Not, Fishbone, 3x5 Why).
Competent in quality tools and process/production control methods (Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
Ability to read and interpret specifications to ensure quality parameters.

Responsibilities

Act as liaison for Advanced Quality Planning activities including internal gate reviews with the BU and program team.
Ensure product specifications comply for sample shipment.
Execute PQP delivered from design site QPM.
Support PFMEA to meet functional specs and controls in the Control Plan.
Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on Poka-yoke strategies and controls.
Confirm readiness for launching programs and product/process changes.
Attend launch program meetings and customer process reviews/audits.
Develop production process Control Plan, CTQ and Safe Launch Plan until program start.
Monitor FA part approval for supplied components.
Conduct gate reviews to confirm MRM activities and evidence.
Ensure MSA studies and adequate Gage R&R for launches.
