Job summary
Advanced Energy is seeking a NPI Purchasing Supervisor to lead procurement for new product introductions and localization initiatives in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
You will drive supplier development, ensure material readiness, and mitigate supply risks across cross-functional teams to support product launches. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will lead a team of NPI Buyers and Purchasing Specialists, focus on cost reduction, strategic sourcing, and strong supplier relationships to enable growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration).
- Strong knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
- Understanding of supply chain management, inventory planning, and risk mitigation.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, iPro).
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement for NPI programs from concept to mass production.
- Ensure material readiness for engineering builds and ramp-up.
- Manage shortages, long lead times, and supply risks to prevent delays.
- Collaborate with Engineering, PM, Planning, Quality, and Commodity teams.
- Act as liaison between suppliers, sites, stakeholders, and customers on material needs.
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation reports.
