Job summary

Nexperia in Cabuyao, Philippines, is seeking an NPI Engineer to lead new product introductions and process changes within the R&D area, interfacing with Business Groups and the Cabuyao site to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.

You'll drive NPI projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage documentation such as DFM, MRAT, and Safe Launch, and deploy changes into production while maintaining a focus on manufacturability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals.
  • Familiar with SPC, DOE, FMEA and DFM methodologies.
  • Proficient with MS Office; JMP or Minitab is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiar with Six Sigma and/or 8D problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across functions.
  • Customer-focused, innovative and results-driven mindset.
  • Willing to travel when required.

Responsibilities

  • Generate project reports and meeting minutes.

About the Role

We are looking for an NPI Engineer to join the R&D Department and support Portfolio and Transfer projects. In this role, you will act as the key interface between Nexperia Business Groups and the Cabuyao manufacturing site, ensuring the successful introduction of new products and process changes while meeting quality, cost, and schedule targets.

What You Will Do
  • Manage Simple to Standard Track NPI projects in compliance with BCAMX, QCM, and ATCB Change Control requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Business Groups, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, and Management teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive project milestones and ensure completion of required deliverables such as RACI, DFM, Release Checklist, CNP, MRAT, Qualification Reports, and Safe Launch activities.
  • Deploy product and process changes into the production environment.
  • Perform Safe Launch planning, deployment, and tracking activities.
  • Plan and coordinate project resources and logistics requirements.
  • Conduct characterization of processes, materials, products, and manufacturing interactions as required.
  • Support yield improvement, package cost reduction, and cost savings initiatives through MVA/DVA implementation.
  • Provide technical support and leadership to engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and on-time project delivery.
  • Generate project reports, meeting minutes, and other required documentation.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the semiconductor or related manufacturing industry.
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management fundamentals.
  • Knowledgeable in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and DFM methodologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with SAS JMP and/or Minitab is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiar with Six Sigma and/or 8D problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Customer-focused, innovative, and results-driven mindset.
  • Able to work independently, collaboratively, and under pressure.
  • Willing to travel when required.
