Job summary

Resource Innovations, a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact, seeks a Director of Business Development to lead growth across the Northeast utilities. You will drive DSM, energy efficiency, demand response, and electrification programs while expanding partnerships.

The role requires deep relationships with Northeast utilities, strategic dealmaking, and hands-on execution to shape solutions that meet client needs and advance RI’s mission.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience selling to Electric and gas utilities.
• Degree from a 4-year accredited college or university.
• Experience selling either Demand Side Management (DSM) programs and/or renewables to utilities.
• Established mid- to senior-level relationships with electric and gas utilities throughout the Northeast region.

Responsibilities

• Secure revenue with Electric and Gas utilities in the Northeastern United States by driving new sales and coordinating with regulatory, delivery, and shared services teams.
• Achieve annual sales quota goals.
• Develop and implement integrated BD and sales strategies to capture new utility clients and expand existing accounts.
• Lead proposal development with guidance on market drivers, strategy, and pricing.
• Partner with delivery and operations teams to enable execution and customer success.
