Job summary

Maintain a clean, organized cooking station, follow food safety standards, and monitor inventory, notifying the kitchen manager when supplies run low. Experience in Asian cuisine or noodle prep is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–2 years of cook/kitchen helper experience.
• Experience in Asian cuisine or noodle preparation is a strong advantage.
• Ability to cook different types of noodles to the correct texture.
• Knowledge of broths, stir-fry techniques, and Asian sauces.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment (woks, steamers, burners, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare various types of noodles (e.g., ramen, soba, udon, rice noodles) according to recipes or customer preferences.
• Cook noodles to the correct texture and doneness (e.g., al dente, soft).
• Time cooking of noodles and other ingredients to ensure dishes are served hot and fresh.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor inventory and notify the kitchen manager or chef when supplies are low.
