IT by Design Philippines Inc. is seeking a NOC Engineer located onsite in BGC, Taguig, with a night shift aligned to EST hours.
You will provide Level 2 technical support for Windows, Active Directory, servers, and network infrastructure; monitor alerts, troubleshoot incidents, perform RCAs, document resolutions, and maintain system availability. The role requires strong English communication, night shifts, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Cisco Meraki in MSP environments.

Shift: Night Shift / EST Schedule
Provide Level 2 technical support and NOC operations for client environments, troubleshooting Windows, Active Directory, servers, networks, firewalls, and infrastructure while ensuring timely incident resolution and system availability.
Provide L2 technical support for Windows, Active Directory, servers, and network infrastructure.
Monitor and respond to alerts, incidents, and system performance issues.
Troubleshoot Windows Server and workstation issues.
Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, permissions, GPO, and authentication issues.
Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, and network connectivity.
Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
Support technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Cisco Meraki.
Perform server and infrastructure monitoring and basic maintenance.
Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement appropriate remediation.
Handle escalated tickets from L1 Service Desk teams.
Escalate complex issues to L3 or specialized engineering teams when required.
Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, changes, and resolutions accurately.
Follow ITIL‑based incident, problem, and change management processes.
Participate in scheduled maintenance and after‑hours troubleshooting.
At least 2–3 years of experience in NOC, L2 IT Support, Systems Administration, Network Support, or a similar role.
Hands‑on experience with Windows and Active Directory.
Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, and DHCP.
Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPN.
Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Cisco Meraki is preferred.
Experience with monitoring and ITSM/ticketing platforms.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig, on a night shift aligned with EST hours.
