Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced NOC-Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Operations team in the Philippines. The role focuses on monitoring, maintaining, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments to ensure high availability and performance across networks, servers, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include monitoring with NOC tools, incident management, capacity planning, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of experience in NOC, Infrastructure Support, or IT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewalls.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux Servers.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG, SCOM, or similar.
• Understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OCI) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, Incident Management, and Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise IT infrastructure and network operations through NOC tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and connectivity.
• Perform proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, and incident management to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams for issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, operational procedures, and escalation processes.
• Support capacity planning, system upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Prepare operational reports, incident summaries, and infrastructure health dashboards.
