Job summary

SuperStaff is seeking a Patient Authorization Coordinator at our corporate office in the Philippines. The role focuses on verifying patient eligibility, coordinating re-authorization with physicians and insurance providers, and maintaining accurate documentation in Brightree and QS1.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, at least one year in a similar position, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while upholding HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical administration or patient services.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Enter re-authorization dates and tasks in QS1/Brightree for monthly tickler reports.
• Request clinical data from physicians as needed for re-authorization.
• Submit re-authorization requests to insurance providers and follow up.
• Document all pertinent information in case management systems.
• Create tasks in Brightree for future authorizations.
• Adhere to formulary guidelines and company protocols.
• Request interim supplies when appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Represent the company professionally.
