Nexus Recruitment Group is seeking an Accounting Supervisor in Manila to oversee day-to-day financial operations in a shared services setting. You will ensure accurate reporting, compliance with policies, and drive continuous improvement across GL, payables, receivables, and tax reporting.

The role requires leadership experience in accounting operations, solid knowledge of US GAAP, and comfort with night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong working knowledge of financial reporting frameworks, preferably US GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management capability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite and night shifts as required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger, A/P and A/R, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies and external reporting standards (e.g., US GAAP).
• Prepare and review financial reports, journal entries, and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Oversee implementation of accounting policies, controls, and documentation practices.
• Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements and automation.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate junior accounting staff.
• Support audit preparation, regulatory compliance, and internal reviews.
• Coordinate with procurement, tax, payroll, and operations for seamless workflows.
• Investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation of procedures and internal controls.
