Qualifications

• Underwrite new applications and existing corporate liability credit requests.
• Spread business financial statements/tax returns, perform ratio analysis, and complete risk assessment.
• Provide written and verbal presentations of credit recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Spread financial statements and tax returns, perform ratio analysis and risk assessment.
• Support recommendations during negotiations and counteroffers as appropriate.
• Underwrite commercial credit requests for lines of moderate to large size with limited guidance.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers and with management at various levels.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Adapt to changing volumes and areas of focus (new apps, portfolio reviews, collections).
• Identify and initiate process improvements.
• Apply accounting and finance knowledge in commercial banking contexts.
