Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a 401(k) Loans & Distributions Administrator to process participant loan and distribution transactions for US retirement plans.

The role ensures compliance with plan provisions, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures while coordinating with providers, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and delivering accurate, timely support to internal teams, plan sponsors, and participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of US retirement plan administration experience with 401(k) or 403(b).
• Knowledge of IRS and ERISA rules governing plan loans and distributions.
• Experience with multiple recordkeepers and custodian platforms.
• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to perform loan/tax withholding calculations.
• Excellent English communication skills for US-based clients and providers.
• Willingness to work night shift and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Process participant loan and distribution transactions per plan documents and policies.
• Calculate loan amounts, review limits, prepare repayment schedules, and verify balances.
• Process various distribution types (termination, hardship, rollover, RMD).
• Compute vested balances, taxes, and withholdings while ensuring consents are complete.
• Review transactions for completeness and compliance before approval.
• Resolve discrepancies and manage workflows using PensionPro.
• Review and update plan information in FT Williams.
• Coordinate with providers and custodians to ensure timely processing.
• Navigate provider portals and documentation requirements.
• Manage high-volume queues and meet SLAs; escalate as needed.
• Maintain transaction records for audit readiness and internal reviews.
• Respond to inquiries from internal teams, sponsors, and participants.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and turnaround times.
