Job summary

Landco Lifestyle Ventures is seeking an Income Auditor / Night Auditor to ensure accurate revenue recording and robust end-of-day processes at the property in the Philippines. The role focuses on validating transactions, reconciling PMS/POS systems, and supporting timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will monitor daily audit procedures, maintain audit documentation, and collaborate with hotel operations to resolve discrepancies while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

• Verify room revenue and average room rates by market or revenue segment.
• Review rate variances, high-balance reports, and room discrepancy reports.
• Reconcile PMS and POS revenue totals.
• Review Food & Beverage, banquet, catering, and other revenue transactions, where applicable.
• Review allowances, adjustments, discounts, voids, and miscellaneous revenue postings.
• Ensure that all adjustments and allowances have proper approvals, explanations, and supporting documents.
• Reconcile cash, check, credit card, and other payment transactions with PMS/POS reports.
• Review cashier reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Verify credit card settlements and ensure that settlement totals agree with PMS and POS records.
• Review refunds and paid-outs for appropriate supporting documents and approvals.
• Review and reconcile the Guest Ledger, City Ledger, and Deposit Ledger.
• Verify that postings and balances agree with the PMS.
• Review credit limits, posting master accounts, and unapplied credits.
• Ensure that miscellaneous postings have proper supporting documents and are charged to the correct accounts.
• Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Report.
• Complete the allowance and house charge worksheets.
• Maintain the daily Night Audit/Income Audit pack.
• Ensure that all required reports, vouchers, cashier reports, and supporting documents are properly organized and retained

Job description

The primary objectives of the Income Auditor / Night Auditor are as follows:

1. Revenue and Transaction Validation

To ensure the complete, accurate, and proper recording of all revenue-related transactions

through daily audit procedures. This includes reconciling transaction source totals with the

General Ledger, PMS, POS, and Revenue Reports; verifying required approvals and

authorizations; reviewing adjustments and allowances; and ensuring that all transactions are

properly supported by the required documentation.

2. Hotel Systems and Night Audit Management

To manage and monitor the hotel's financial and operational systems, including the

execution of end-of-day and month-end procedures, system backups, and other required

system routines. The position will also perform periodic checks of the PMS, POS, and

system interfaces to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and that systemrelated discrepancies are identified and properly resolved.

3. Accurate and Timely Financial Reporting

To prepare, review, organize, and distribute hotel financial and operational reports

accurately and on a timely basis. The position will be responsible for maintaining and

organizing daily audit records and supporting documents to ensure that records are readily

available for review, reconciliation, and audit purposes.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Revenue Audit
