Job summary

Globe Telecom, Inc. seeks a Power Systems Governance professional to oversee governance, readiness, and recovery of power systems across the network, including backup power, gensets, batteries, and fuel logistics.

The role ensures disaster recovery policies are applied across fiber, microwave, and IP transport infrastructure, focusing on risk governance, operational readiness, and coordination with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in telecom power systems (DC, AC, rectifiers, ATS, batteries).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, grounding/earthing, and tower structural basics.
• Understanding of genset sizing, fuel planning, and site electrical diagrams.
• Experience in infrastructure restoration during typhoons, earthquakes, or outages preferred.
• Safety certifications (BOSH, electrical safety) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive governance of power continuity plans, genset deployment frameworks, and infrastructure readiness standards.
• Conduct power system risk assessments including battery readiness, rectifier redundancy, HVAC vulnerabilities, and grounding compliance.
• Maintain and oversee DR inventories of gensets, fuel reserves, ATS, batteries, mobile towers, and rapid‑deployment shelters.
• Coordinate with Power Operations, Facilities, TowerCo partners, and utilities for exercises and readiness audits.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure DR playbooks, emergency electrical diagrams, and environmental resilience plans.
• Produce structured reports on infrastructure status during incidents and validate normalization criteria for power stability post‑disaster.
• Oversee compliance with safety standards, site hardening recommendations, and infrastructure readiness KPIs.
• Maintain tracking dashboards for power and infrastructure DR resources, risks, and standards compliance.
• Conduct post‑event analysis on power‑related outages and vulnerabilities.
