Job Description

• Perform onsite or field troubleshooting and corrective maintenance for fault, incident, and problem tickets, and network quality and performance issues endorsed by DSOC or RSC.
• Isolate and correct equipment faults to ensure normal operations by running diagnostic tests.
• Conduct testing and equipment calibration to normalize service interruptions.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting of on‑site issues.
• Implement technical solutions recommended by Senior Network Field Engineers or Technical Support (TIER2).
• Provide technical support and consultancy to other teams, including vendors.
• Recommend network resiliency programs based on troubleshooting results for unit head approval.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Technical Support (TIER2) or other applicable teams within SLA.
• Implement activity such as network change rollouts and parameter/configuration standardization via MOP and MAR.
• Install, de‑install, commission, re‑commission, and reintegrate equipment when needed.
• Perform compatibility testing, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Intensive Site Acceptance Testing (ISAT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in coordination with concerned departments.
• Perform preventive maintenance of network elements according to schedule.
• Monitor and assess vendors’ performance and compliance with contract provisions, providing recommendations.
• Prepare and analyze technical reports as needed, such as turn‑over and acceptance test reports.
• Update policies and procedures manuals (PPM) for existing IN/VAS network equipment.

Network Operations

• Knowledge of access, transport core, and IP technologies, switches, broadband, equipment design, and maintenance strategies including OSP‑Fiber Links.
• Understanding of technical processes for commissioning, integration, operation, and maintenance of telecom equipment.
• Familiarity with current products, services, network design, and elements.
• Adherence to safety and risk management principles and standards.

Network Performance Management

• Anticipate network issues and develop technical or business recommendations to mitigate or address them.
• Carry out cause and effect analysis and analyze network element performance reports.
• Identify potential revenue loss or leakage in the network.

Problem Solving And Complexity

• Execute tasks based on direction from supervisors and established procedures and guidelines.
• Formulate solutions for routine and standard problems in a predictable work environment.
• Demonstrate good understanding of local customs.

Knowledge And Experience

• Apply theoretical knowledge and exhibit practical skills to anticipated problems.
• Provide specific advice and recommend improvements to well‑established processes.

Effective Communication

• Use active listening skills to clarify requirements and concerns.
• Use appropriate level of jargon and technical language based on the audience.
• Identify and address miscommunication causes, taking preventive measures to avoid future issues.

Network Operations Project Management

• Display a systematic approach to perform, validate, and implement solutions.
