Job summary

Nordic Global in Manila, Philippines is seeking a Network Engineer I to assist in enterprise network design, implementation and ongoing support of network infrastructure across data centers and offices. The role requires coordination with technical and non-technical staff and vendors.

You will analyze and resolve complex incidents, document solutions, and contribute to policies and knowledge bases. On-call rotation and collaboration with teams are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Knowledge of trunk types (analog, PRI, SIP, H323).
• Working knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco ASA and ISE preferred.
• Experience with enterprise-class infrastructure environments.
• Ability to author technical documents and procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Healthcare knowledge and data privacy practices.
• Team-oriented with customer service orientation.
• On-call 7/24 rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work to meet project and incident SLAs.
• Provide training and mentoring to peers.
• Evaluate and recommend technical solutions across deployments.
• Engage in tier 2/3 troubleshooting and remediation.
• Operate, service, troubleshoot and administer platform technologies.
• Collaborate across datacenters, WAN, security and virtualization.
