Job summary

IMV INTERNATIONAL MICRO VILLAGE INC. is seeking a Technical Engineer to join our ICT team in Makati City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to support our organisational objectives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience, at least 1 year in network engineering, knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN, and hands-on experience with Cisco devices and network

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
Minimum 1 year of professional network engineering experience.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN and network architecture.
Hands-on experience with Cisco devices and network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy and maintain robust network infrastructure to support business operations
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal system uptime
Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers
Implement network security protocols and best practices to protect organisational assets
Conduct regular network audits and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and digital transformation projects
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and end-users
Document network configurations, processes and procedures for knowledge management
Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry standards
