Job summary

TGG is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations and support the CFO and team in managing the financial health of the organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in a professional services firm required.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Payroll processing and commission tracking proficiency.
• Experience managing accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries, account analysis, and financial statements.
• Solid understanding of intercompany transactions and consolidated financial statements.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and OpenAir preferred.
• Track record of process improvements and automation.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented with a hands-on attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, GL, and taxes.
• Supervise and support the Staff Accountant.
• Prepare and manage payroll and commissions calculations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure adherence to proper accounting procedures and financial objectives.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits and corporate financial controls audits.
• Monitor and analyze financial accounting data.
• Create financial reports based on data analysis.
• Evaluate current practices and recommend improvements.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested.
