Tailored resume and cover letter, ready to send.
Gemini, the Philippines’ first SaaS platform for automated electricity procurement and risk management, is hiring to lead the commercial plan in the Philippine market. You will own the sales strategy, target a finite universe of potential customers, and drive multi-stakeholder engagements that include CEOs, CFOs, trading, risk, settlements, and IT.
You will represent Gemini at industry forums and regulatory events, shaping market perception and accelerating adoption across the target segment.
Electricity in the Philippines is contracted inefficiently, and everybody in the chain pays for it.
Generators carry risk they can't price cleanly. Retailers hedge on incomplete information and hold margin back to cover what they can't see. Tenders are run on spreadsheets and email. Bilateral agreements, once signed, are administered by hand — positions tracked manually, settlements reconciled weeks late, exposure that nobody can state precisely until it has already cost someone money.
Every one of those inefficiencies ends up as a risk premium in the price a Philippine business pays for power.
Take the inefficiency out and everyone wins. Generators and retailers make better margins on better-structured contracts. Customers pay less. The market prices risk properly instead of guessing at it.
Our goal is to put billions of pesos a year back into the market and into customers' hands by 2027. That is not a slogan. Around 85–90% of Philippine electricity volume settles bilaterally, with no shared infrastructure for valuation, confirmation or settlement. Take a few percent out of the cost of covering that risk and the number runs to billions. The timing is not accidental either: contestability expands sharply from 2026 as the 100–499 kW band opens, bringing thousands of newly contestable customers into a market that already can't administer the contracts it has.
That is what Gemini does, and we're hiring the leader who takes it to the market.
Gemini is the Philippines' first SaaS platform for automated electricity procurement and risk management. It takes a participant from portfolio model to priced quote to executed, notarised contract to settled invoice — the entire contract lifecycle — and it does it in under thirty minutes.
The numbers are the pitch, and they hold up:
Electricity contracting in this market hasn't moved since the 1990s. Hedge blocks, spreadsheets, manual reconciliation. Gemini replaces all of it.
There is no electricity exchange in the Philippines.
No screen, no clearing house, no listed futures. Power is contracted bilaterally, counterparty to counterparty, and that is how it will be done for the foreseeable future. So the value isn't in building a venue nobody asked for. It's in making the bilateral market work properly — which is precisely what Gemini does, and precisely why the opportunity is open.
Gemini is not an exchange, a broker or a financial intermediary. We don't make a market, take a position, hold payments or guarantee anyone's obligations. Gemini is the tool participants use to run their own tenders and administer their own bilateral agreements. That distinction is central to how the product is positioned and regulated, and you'll be making it clearly and often.
Make Gemini the way this market contracts for power.
Greenfield product, lean team of two, and a market that has never had a proper tool for this. You own the commercial plan and you build from there.
Here's what makes this unlike any sales job you've had: your entire addressable market is roughly 300 to 350 organisations. Generators, retailers, distribution utilities, electric cooperatives, aggregators and the largest contestable customers. That's the list. You can name it, map it, and personally meet a serious share of it inside a year.
No spray and pray. No cold-call quotas. No wondering where the next lead comes from. Every account you win is a measurable percentage of the entire market, and every one you lose is a competitor's reference. Sales leaders spend careers looking for a market this knowable.
