Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a seasoned collections leader to drive pan-India recovery for unsecured loans. The role requires coordinating Zonal, Regional, and Collection Managers, while overseeing external agencies to optimize recovery rates and maintain compliance with regulatory policies.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience managing unsecured business loan portfolios and driving strategies across multiple zones to improve performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage pan-India recovery and collections for the Unsecured Loan portfolio across early, mid, and late delinquency buckets (X to Infinity).
• Lead internal teams (Zonal, Regional/Cluster, and Collection Managers) and manage external collection agencies/vendors.
• Report directly to the Head Collections – Secured & Unsecured.
• Develop strategies to improve collection efficiency, roll rates, and overall recovery rates.
• Monitor portfolio performance, MIS, and key collection metrics.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal collection policies.

Preferred Profile:

• Proven experience handling Pan-India collections, or at least two zones (or past experience managing different zones for the same product).
• Candidates must have a background specifically in Unsecured Business Loans.
