Job summary

UNDP Philippines seeks a National Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Sustainable Finance Specialist to lead the revision of the Sustainable Financing Manual for PPP projects. You will engage with PPPC and UNDP, assess financing instruments, and refine guidance across the PPP lifecycle to attract sustainable financing.

You will design workshops, prepare assessment reports, and deliver training to PPPC personnel, strengthening capacity to mobilize private sector finance for climate-smart and NbS PPP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in management, business administration, finance, economics, socio-economic development or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and enhancement of the Sustainable Financing Manual for PPP projects and related tools.
• Coordinate with PPPC, UNDP and stakeholders to validate objectives, scope, and methodology.
• Prepare an Assessment Report outlining findings, recommendations, outline, and workplan for the revised Manual.
• Conduct desk research on domestic and international sustainable finance policies, instruments and standards.
• Design and facilitate at least two consultative workshops or focus groups with government agencies, financial institutions and experts.
• Develop and revise the Manual, incorporating stakeholder feedback and alignment with PPPC tools.
• Prepare training materials and deliver one Training of Trainers (ToT) session and one ToT for PPPC personnel.
• Produce a concise three-slide presentation on Sustainable Financing for PPP Projects.
