Job summary

JLL in the Philippines seeks an HVAC technician to maintain and repair building HVAC systems on-site in Quezon and Makati. You will perform routine PMs, troubleshoot issues and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Applicants should have knowledge of HVAC, ability to read schematics and possess a SO2 or SO1 certificate. The role involves hands-on work with HVAC tools and data entry into the asset management system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC repair, maintenance and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings.
• SO2 or SO1 certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs HVAC equipment, tanks, pumps, timers, valves and controls.
• Maintains air handlers and related equipment including motors, fans and vents.
• Repairs chilled water equipment, condensers, pumps and related components.
• Troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment and follows safety policies.
• Input data into maintenance management systems and coordinate parts.

• maintains and repairs HVAC equipment; tanks, pumps, timers, valves, and controls
• maintains and repairs air handlers and related equipment; air supply, return, motors, fans, and vents
• maintains, and repairs chilled water-related equipment and condensers; water pumps, valves, regulators, and chemicals
• Safely troubleshoot and repair all types of HVAC manufacturing and plant equipment
• Demonstrate the initiative to investigate and offer improvements to operations
• Work safely and follow all established plant safety policies and procedures
• Communicate appropriately with all site management employees
• Service, clean, inspect and repair equipment periodically following established PMs
• Safely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, carts, trucks, lifts, boom lifts, etc.
• Create notifications and follow up on needed repairs and order required parts
• Utilize problem-solving techniques in interacting with other employees in resolving issues
• Input data into Carrier’s TMS work order and asset management system

• Knowledge of HVAC or refrigeration tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
• Knowledge of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques
• Abiding by HVAC trade codes, standards, and regulations
• Reading and understanding schematics
• Has a SO2 or SO1 certificate
