Job summary

Param Foundation in Bengaluru seeks an IT Support Engineer to ensure smooth day‑to‑day IT operations across multiple locations. You will provide end‑user support, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and maintain the reliability of internet, LAN/Wi‑Fi and shared systems.

The role requires hands‑on ownership of IT systems, timely onboarding/offboarding, Google Workspace administration, asset lifecycle management and routine maintenance across centres, makerspace and offices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS.
• 1–3 years of IT support or desktop support experience.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide end‑user IT support across offices, centres and makerspace.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues with quick turnaround times.
• Ensure uptime of internet, LAN/Wi‑Fi and shared systems.
• Support user onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and access management.
• Handle helpdesk requests and maintain logs of issues and resolutions.
• Manage Google Workspace administration including user access, permissions and groups.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, including allocation, tracking and lifecycle management.
• Track software licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance and renewals.
• Perform routine system checks, updates and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure device sanitization and data security during reallocation or disposal.
• Assist in IT infrastructure setup and upgrades across locations.
• Support installation and maintenance of biometric devices (Biomax, eSSL, Matrix).
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, repairs and installations.
• Assist in setting up new centres, makerspace or office IT infrastructure.
• Support basic database‑related tasks (SQL Server preferred).
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations and network setups.
• Follow IT security best practices including access control and system hygiene.
