Job summary

PRIME Philippines is looking for a detail-oriented General Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations across real estate, coworking spaces, and professional services. Based in Quezon City, you will help ensure accurate financial records and smooth month-end closes for multiple entities.

You will perform bank reconciliations, post journal entries, and assist with audits and regulatory compliance while collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience with bank reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero is a plus.
• Experience handling multiple entities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple company accounts and entities
• Record and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger and supporting schedules
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions as needed
• Prepare supporting documentation for month-end and year-end closing
• Assist in preparing schedules for audits and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions across the group of companies
• File and organize accounting records and supporting documents
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Support the accounting team with ad hoc reports and tasks as required
