Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is seeking an Assistant Accountant to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records across multiple entities. You will support reconciliations, transaction processing, and month-end close in a fast-paced, collaborative finance team.

The role offers exposure to technical accounting and opportunities for growth within a dynamic outsourcing environment in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Hands-on experience supporting month-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SAP B1 or other ERP systems is highly advantageous.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and collaboration across the business.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Record and process Hire Purchase repayments accurately within the ERP system and maintain up-to-date schedules.
• Allocate transactions to contracts, general ledger accounts, and cost centres.
• Perform monthly reconciliations including HP, bank, card, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Process and review corporate card transactions with proper documentation and policy compliance.
• Assist with month-end activities including journals, accruals, and reconciliation support.
• Maintain audit-ready supporting documentation across all financial processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify transactions and follow up on missing information.
• Support audit requirements by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and other documentation.
