Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist with 5+ years' MRI experience.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a medical imaging department.
• Strong knowledge of MRI physics, safety protocols, and imaging techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards for medical imaging.
• Proficiency in medical imaging software and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise MRI technologists and staff; manage scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure MRI safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

About the role

As MRI Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our MRI facility, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, equipment maintenance, and staff performance. This role is pivotal to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our imaging services and plays a crucial part in supporting our hospital's commitment to delivering excellent diagnostic care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage MRI technologists and support staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements specific to MRI operations
• Oversee daily MRI equipment operations and coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Monitor patient flow and scheduling
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, quality assurance tests, and staff competencies
• Liaise with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding imaging protocols and patient requirements
• Implement and enforce departmental policies and procedures

About you
