Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to act as the primary interface for customer quality, ensuring compliance with standards and driving improvements across manufacturing processes. The role supports new product introductions, develops inspection plans, and leads corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 7+ years in quality within a production environment (electronics-focused), and strong knowledge of quality tools and QMS

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or technical field with equivalent (process) engineering experience.
• 6-7 years minimum experience in Quality in manufacturing environments (electronics-related).
• Knowledge and application of core quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC tools, MSA, SPC, FACA, etc.
• Good understanding of QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015).
• Strong background in problem solving, continuous improvement, audits, and GD&T (nice to have).

Job Overview

The role serves as the key quality interface for customers, ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing complaints, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. It supports new product introductions, develops inspection plans, and collaborates on corrective actions, while also leading quality documentation and process reviews to uphold customer and operational requirements.

Education, Technical Qualification & Experience

• Degree in Engineering or technical field with equivalent (process) engineering experience
• With at least 6-7 years (minimum) of working experience in the Quality department, with strong knowledge in manufacturing process and production environment (product: connector, semiconductor, electronics assemblies; process: Assembly, Molding, Stamping, Plating).
• Knowledge and application of core quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC tools, MSA, SPC, FACA, etc.
• With a good understanding of QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, etc.).
• Strong background in problem solving, continuous improvement, process audits, and GD&T (nice to have).

Personal Attributes & Competencies

• With excellent oral communication and business correspondence writing skills (with good command of the English language)
• Strong sense of responsibility, collaboration, and teamwork.
• A self-starter can work with minimum supervision.
