You will obtain and compare quotations, select the best provider based on client requirements, oversee the move, monitor timelines, communicate updates, and maintain accurate records to meet SLA and policy standards.
A customer-focused operations professional responsible for coordinating moving services for assigned employees. Acting as the primary point of contact throughout the moving process, the consultant ensures a seamless customer experience by obtaining and comparing moving quotations, selecting the most appropriate provider based on the clients’ requirements, and overseeing all aspects of the move to ensure successful delivery.
Working closely with clients, relocating employees, internal stakeholders, and global service partners, the Move Management Consultant provides proactive support, clear communication, and effective coordination throughout the move.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with client policies, service level agreements (SLA’s), and company quality standards. The Move Management Consultant proactively manages move timelines, resolves service issues, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver exceptional service while driving customer satisfaction.
Tertiary Qualification in relevant discipline.
1 to 2 years of move service experience
Proven client service experience
Excellent computer skill, MS office, Outlook, etc.
Written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, adaptable, flexible and detail oriented
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize workload.
Take ownership of problems
Fluency in oral and written English
Leadership and People Management: Assisting in work familiarisation of peers and new recruits and coordinating work
Creativity and Problem-Solving: Mainly regulated by laid down procedures. Exercised occasionally to deal with challenges.
Contacts and Relationships: Contacts on well-established matters providing readily available information or assistance. Occasionally dealing with issues where the outcome may not be straightforward. Identifying details of service needs, assessment and initiating actions to help. Offering advice or delivering more comprehensive support and/or care.
Communication: Exchanging orally or in writing information that can be sensitive with a range of audiences including internal colleagues, team member(s), service users, external stakeholders, government, etc.
Decision Making: Able to analyse a facts and situations before making decisions within clearly defined rules and procedures, chosen from a range of established alternatives.
Resources (Physical and financial): Careful handling of sensitive information and personal possessions of others (e.g. passports or personal documents)
Knowledge and Skills: Requires a good standard of practical knowledge and skills in the Relocation Line of Business.
