Job summary

Pepper Money UK, Manila-based, is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to lead a team of up to 12 Specialists handling application packaging, underwriting and mortgage completions while ensuring efficient, high-quality processing.

You will drive SLAs and KPIs, coach staff, manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, and push strategic improvements in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Mortgage and specialist lending experience (desirable)
• Ability to identify risk and provide recommendations to mitigate
• Proven management experience with successful team leadership
• Regulatory knowledge
• Residential underwriting experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and influencing skills
• Skilled in coaching and developing team members
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work effectively as part of management team

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 12 Specialists who undertake a range of activities from application packaging, underwriting and mortgage completions and ensuring the efficient and high-quality processing of mortgage applications.
• Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) while fostering a culture of excellence in customer service.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and escalations are resolved swiftly.
• Drive team performance through coaching, training, and development, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to strategic improvements, conduct audits, and collaborate with peers and senior managers to deliver a seamless service proposition.
