Job summary

OpticOne is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to collect, review, and verify borrower documentation to ensure loan files are complete and compliant. You will coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to track applications through underwriting and closing.

You will prepare files for underwriting, resolve document issues, and ensure adherence to lending guidelines and regulatory requirements while communicating clearly with customers and internal teams to support a smooth

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and familiarity with standard lending practices.
• Experience in Mortgage Lending and Loans, including working with various loan products and terms.
• Hands-on expertise in Loan Processing, including document verification and file preparation.
• Understanding of Underwriting requirements and ability to prepare complete, compliant loan files.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems and common office software tools.
• Prior experience in mortgage operations or financial services is preferred.
• Relevant education in finance, business, or a related field is an advantage.
