Job summary

HRTX is seeking a Mobile QA Engineer (Automation) to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS/Android using Java and Appium. You will enhance the existing frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers, QM, and manual QA to ensure comprehensive coverage.

The role requires 3+ years of Appium experience, proficiency in Java/Python/C#, and a strong understanding of mobile app architecture and lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent.
3+ years hands-on Appium for mobile UI automation.
Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python for automation development.

Responsibilities

Create, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for iOS/Android using Java and Appium.
Enhance mobile automation frameworks for efficiency, reliability, and maintenance.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback to development teams.
Collaborate with developers, QM, and manual QA to define test strategies and ensure coverage.
Investigate and debug issues found during automated testing and coordinate with teams to resolve them.
Stay current with mobile automation trends and advocate adoption of best practices.
Mentor junior team members in automation (optional).
Maintain documentation for test plans, frameworks, and test cases.
