Job summary

Luxoft seeks an experienced QA Engineer focused on mobile application testing to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams. You will design and execute manual tests for iOS and Android apps, covering native, hybrid, and mobile web platforms, and validate APIs with traffic inspection.

Responsibilities include creating test strategies, maintaining regression suites, and supporting release checks for App Store and Google Play.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a QA Engineer focusing on mobile apps.
• Manual testing of native, hybrid, and mobile web apps (iOS/Android).
• Strong test design skills (equivalence, boundary, decision tables).
• Ability to define test strategy and device/OS coverage from scratch.
• Familiar with API testing (SOAP/REST).
• Experience with defect tracking in Jira and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams and client to find best solutions.
• Onboard quickly to customer processes and product domains.
• Design, create, and maintain test cases, checklists, and regression suites.
• Manually test mobile apps on real devices, simulators, and cloud farms.
• Verify API interfaces and inspect traffic to isolate defects.
• Support App Store/Play submission checks and release readiness.
• Apply AI-assisted testing tools for faster coverage and analysis.
• Report issues with reproducible steps, logs, and evidence.
• Contribute to QA reporting and risk management in reviews.
