Job summary

Propelrr is seeking a QA Automation Engineer focused on mobile and frontend web testing. You will design and maintain automated test scripts for iOS/Android and modern web frameworks such as Next.js and React, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and reliable state management.

You will embed tests into CI/CD pipelines, identify defects with engineers, and contribute to documentation and quality standards across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field; practical experience accepted.
• 3–5 years in software QA with automated mobile and web UI testing.
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium/Detox/Maestro.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for web automation.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript scripting for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and document mobile automation tasks for iOS and Android.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and frontend web UI.
• Build robust E2E and UI test suites for Next.js/React applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines across staging/pre-production.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with engineers to isolate issues.
