Responsibilities
- Maintain the master file for supplier trading terms, ensuring all rebate agreements and contracts are legally compliant and accurately reflect agreed-upon margins.
- Coordinate the on-time loading of monthly promotional case deals and ensure marketing/merchandise teams adhere to the agreed-upon promotional rate card.
- Prepare accurate invoices for supplier promotional co‑op and reconcile payments against agreements to resolve any discrepancies or outstanding aging.
- Execute month‑end reporting, providing detailed ROI analysis and variance reports to the Category and Finance teams.
- Act as the central point of contact for suppliers to resolve payment issues, while collaborating internally with Marketing and Sales to align co‑op programs with business objectives.
Qualifications – Non‑negotiables
- Strong background in financial analysis, specifically regarding rebate management, case deals, or cooperative marketing funds.
- Proficiency in managing complex spreadsheets and financial tools to track income accuracy and program performance.
- Previous professional experience in supplier income management, trade spend, or a similar administrative‑finance hybrid role.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage delicate financial discussions and collections with external vendors.
- High attention to detail to ensure 100% compliance with internal governance and external financial regulations.
Preferred Skills / Expertise
- Educational background in Business, Finance, or Administration.
- Experience within a Customer Insights or Analytics team, using data to identify optimization trends.
- Proven ability to implement cost‑saving measures and mitigate financial risks within supplier co‑op programs.
- Familiarity with trading terms audits and the ability to maintain organized audit trails for all transactions.
- Knowledge of the retail or merchandising industry, specifically regarding promotional rate cards and case deal workflows.
