About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEPFS Supervisor to join COOGEE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT INC. in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and related systems on construction projects. As MEPFS Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire safety installations are executed to the highest standards, in compliance with all relevant codes, regulations and project specifications. This role is integral to project success, site safety and the delivery of quality outcomes that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and related systems installation activities on site
• Ensure all MEPFS work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, building codes and industry standards
• Manage and allocate resources, including labour, materials and equipment for MEPFS operations
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and adherence to specifications
• Identify and resolve technical issues, defects and non-conformances in a timely manner
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, inspection records and progress logs
• Coordinate with other trades and project teams to ensure seamless integration of MEPFS systems
• Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental (HSE) protocols on all MEPFS work activities
• Manage scheduling and timelines to ensure MEPFS work progresses in line with overall project milestones
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and subcontractors regarding MEPFS progress and any concerns
• Train and mentor MEPFS teams to maintain high standards of workmanship and professional conduct
• Prepare reports on MEPFS performance, challenges and recommendations for improvement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a MEPFS Supervisor or equivalent supervisory role in construction, with a minimum of 5-7 years in MEPFS management
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems and their integration within building construction projects
• Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, standards and regulations applicable to MEPFS work
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications and blueprints
• Solid understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements on construction sites
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Valid relevant trade qualifications or certifications in mechanical, electrical or plumbing fields preferred
• Experience working on large commercial or industrial construction projects is advantageous
• Must be a civil or mechanical engineer graduate or equivalent
• License is not required but in an advantage
