Job summary

Anonymous in the Philippines is seeking Mechanical Engineers with water and wastewater project experience to join a UK-focused MEICA team. Based in the Philippines, you will contribute to mechanical design, pump sizing, and equipment selection across a range of UK water infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary groups, review technical deliverables, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while delivering sustainable, low-carbon engineering solutions for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2-5+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Experience working within a MEICA or multidisciplinary engineering environment; familiarity with CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical designs from feasibility through detailed design and construction for water/wastewater projects.
Produce P&IDs, valve and penstock schedules, and mechanical specifications.
Perform pump sizing and equipment sizing calculations.
Collaborate with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Geotechnical, and Process Engineering teams to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards including CDM where applicable.
Participate in project meetings and client/stakeholder engagement for international projects.
