Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking Electrical Engineers with MEICA experience to support UK water and wastewater projects, developing electrical and control system designs from feasibility to construction.

You will work within an international MEICA team, collaborating with project managers, clients, contractors, and supply chain partners, ensuring compliance with UK standards and BS 7671, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer preferred but not required.
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Experience in MEICA or multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and control system designs from feasibility through detailed design and construction for water and wastewater projects.
• Produce P&IDs, Cable calculations, Protection studies, LV distribution designs, and control panel layouts.
• Design and size switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems; implement PLC/SCADA systems.
• Carry out electrical calculations (cable sizing, fault level, protection coordination, earthing).
• Collaborate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Geotechnical, and Process Engineers to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to client and stakeholder engagement.
• Support development of innovative, sustainable, low-carbon engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and UK standards (WIMES where applicable).
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and promote safe-by-design principles.
