Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks Mechanical Engineers with water/wastewater MEICA experience to support UK-based projects. This project-based/full-time role involves designing from feasibility to construction and delivering P&IDs, pump sizing, and mechanical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in water/wastewater or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in MEICA environments and multidisciplinary teams is required or preferred.
• Exposure to UK or international standards is a plus.
• Experience with consultants or contracting organizations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs from feasibility to detailed design for water and wastewater projects.
• Produce P&IDs, valve schedules, mechanical specs, and above-ground layouts.
• Perform pump sizing, equipment sizing, and maintenance assessments.
• Collaborate with Civil, Electrical, Geotechnical, and Process teams to ensure robust, cost-effective solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and support safety and sustainability objectives.
