You will manage appointments, handle calls, assist with billing, and maintain patient records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Virtual Assistant or healthcare admin.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance processes.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and reminders.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and messages from patients and providers.
• Assist with medical billing, insurance verification, and claims processing.
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) and patient databases.
• Transcribe medical dictations and prepare reports, summaries, and correspondence.
• Conduct patient intake gathering medical history and symptoms.
• Provide admin support like managing documents and coordinating lab results.
• Assist with telemedicine appointments and virtual patient support.
