Job summary

PH PHIL ASIA MEDICA is seeking a Business Development Officer to identify and develop opportunities, promote products, and expand market coverage through field visits to physicians, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and distributors.

You will build relationships, gather market information, and support launches while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Immediate start and willingness to be based in the assigned area are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, pharmacy, or health-related field.
• Based in or willing to be based in the assigned area.
• Willing to do fieldwork and regular client visits.
• Can start immediately.
• At least 1 year in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare sales (preferred).
• Experience in account management or business development (preferred).
• Own smartphone and ability to use a tablet and mobile apps (preferred).
• Valid driver's license or own transportation, depending on the area (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promote and present products, develop new accounts and territories, generate leads, and achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
• Build professional relationships with physicians, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and distributors through regular visits and follow-ups, and address customer concerns.
• Identify untapped markets, gather market and competitor information, support territory expansion plans, and support new product launches.
• Submit timely sales, call, activity, and pipeline reports and territory plans, and keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Keep product knowledge updated, attend trainings and meetings, and ensure promotions follow Company policies and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, and Administration, and give customer and field feedback.
• Follow Company policies, laws, and ethical standards, and keep Company and customer information confidential.

About the role

The Business Development Officer identifies, develops, and maintains business opportunities that support the Company's growth and revenue objectives. The position promotes the Company's pharmaceutical and healthcare products, expands market coverage, builds business relationships, and achieves assigned sales and business development targets.
