Job summary

Ventra Health is seeking a Chart Research Escalation Specialist to review medical records, ensure complete documentation in EMR systems, and support the team with accurate data indexing. The role involves extracting necessary chart information, ROS, HPI, and MD notes, while maintaining compliance with health information regulations.

You will work with EMR platforms (Cerner, Meditech, Epic, PICIS) and collaborate with the training team to improve processes and quality.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least six months of experience handling patient health information or medical records.
Experience with EMR systems such as Cerner, Meditech, Epic, PICIS.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for Chart Research Department and assist with questions from team.
Handle escalated issues from team.
Document work processes and support training for associates.
Ensure medical records are complete in the EMR by obtaining missing information.
Review ROS, Exam, HPI, and MD Notes.
Retrieve existing medical records from the EMR system.
Scan and input documents.
Verify accurate indexing of information.
Pull down medical records via automated tasks.
Monitor the performance of automate tasks.
Create new entries and sub-files as needed.
Perform special projects as assigned.
