Job summary

Hlfppt is seeking a MBBS physician to coordinate MMU operations in Negros Occidental, Philippines. The role involves collaborating with nurses, pharmacists, and drivers, and liaising with government authorities to deliver preventive, promotive, and curative health services at health camps.

You will document patient records, manage medical stock, supervise staff, and ensure quality of care at outreach events. Training will be provided to the MMU team.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree required.
• Experience coordinating with medical staff and drivers.
• Experience in MMU services or health camps preferred.
• Ability to liaise with government health officials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of route plans for the MMU.
• Provide preventive, promotive and curative health care and referrals during MMU-OPDs and health camps.
• Document and maintain patients' health records as per project requirements.
• Utilize, supervise and manage stock of medicines and reagents for MMU services.
• Supervise safe disposal of biomedical wastes.
• Liaise with health staff and government officials to maintain positive image of the organization.
• Network with medical professionals for special camps/activities.
• Encourage health literacy among target audiences.
• Supervise MMU technical team functions and quality of services.
• Provide regular need-based technical training to MMU team.
