Qualifications

  • MD degree required
  • PRC physician license required
  • PhilHealth accreditation required
  • Experience in primary care or outpatient setting preferred
  • Knowledge of PhilHealth Konsulta guidelines and processes
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active PRC license
  • Active PhilHealth accreditation

Responsibilities

  • Provide general medical consultations, diagnosis, and treatment to patients
  • Deliver preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare services
  • Ensure proper patient assessment, history taking, and physical examinations
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans per medical guidelines
  • Maintain accurate medical records and reports
  • Ensure compliance with PhilHealth Konsulta packages and related programs
  • Support PhilHealth claims processing and documentation
  • Coordinate with allied healthcare professionals for patient management
  • Participate in health education, disease prevention, and community outreach
  • Monitor infection control and safety protocols

About the role

The PCF Medical Doctor is responsible for delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services, ensuring quality patient care, and complying with PhilHealth standards and regulations. The role includes diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and proper documentation aligned with PhilHealth accreditation requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide general medical consultations, diagnosis, and treatment to patients

  • Deliver preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare services

  • Ensure proper patient assessment, history taking, and physical examinations

  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with medical guidelines

  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records and reports

  • Ensure compliance with PhilHealth Konsulta Package and other related programs

  • Facilitate and support PhilHealth claims processing and documentation

  • Coordinate with allied healthcare professionals for patient management

  • Participate in health education, disease prevention, and community outreach programs

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols

About you

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree

  • Licensed Physician (PRC License required)

  • PhilHealth Accredited Physician (required)

  • Preferably with experience in primary care, community health, or outpatient setting

  • Knowledgeable in PhilHealth Konsulta Package guidelines and processes

  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Updated PRC License

  • Valid PhilHealth Accreditation (active status)

  • Willingness to work in a primary care facility setting
