Job summary

International Care Ministries is seeking a Family Doctor to provide primary healthcare services to patients enrolled in the ICM Community Health Program and PhilHealth Konsulta. You will conduct medical consultations, diagnose and manage illnesses, promote preventive care, and ensure compliance with ICM policies, PhilHealth Konsulta guidelines, and data privacy regulations.

A Philippine MD with PRC license and preferences for board certification in Family or Internal Medicine is preferred;

Qualifications

  • MD degree from a recognized medical school.
  • Valid PRC license to practice medicine in the Philippines.
  • Diplomate or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • PhilHealth accreditation or willingness to undergo Konsulta Provider accreditation.
  • Experience in primary care, family medicine, or general practice is advantageous.
  • Strong patient management, communication, and data privacy skills.
  • Knowledge of EMR and PhilHealth Konsulta guidelines is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in underserved or geographically isolated communities.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Family Doctor will provide primary healthcare services to patients enrolled under the ICM Community Health Program and PhilHealth Konsulta Program. Responsibilities include conducting medical consultations, diagnosing and managing illnesses, promoting preventive healthcare, and ensuring compliance with ICM Manila Inc. policies, PhilHealth Konsulta guidelines, and other regulatory standards. The role also requires strict adherence to data privacy and medical information confidentiality under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized medical school
  • Valid PRC license to practice medicine in the Philippines
  • Preferably a Diplomate or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (General Practitioners are welcome)
  • Must be PhilHealth-accredited or willing to undergo accreditation as a Konsulta Provider Physician
  • Experience in primary care, family medicine, or general practice is an advantage
  • Strong patient management, communication, and data privacy compliance skills
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and PhilHealth Konsulta guidelines is a plus
  • Willingness to work in undeserved or geographically isolated communities.
